In usual Stargazey style these 4", 6", 8" and 10"blocks are simply cut from rectangles and quite freely pieced. A big trim at the end creates perfect block sizings. Flaps are cut to shape as you make up each handbag. Keep them simple and rectangular, make easy triangles, or use your imagination and stitch some groovy curves. You can decorate with buttons to close the flaps, you could also change the shape of the hand appliqued handles.
