This is a pendant is patterned after an antique thread cutter. You can wear around your neck, and it has a shank that just fits a spool of thread. There is a round blade inside, and thread can be pulled through any of a dozen notches to snip it. This gadget is a must have if you take your quilting when you travel by plane (scissors are not allowed).
